Fees & engagement

Clear fees, agreed in writing before we begin

You will always know what the work covers and what it costs before you commit to anything. Your first phone consultation is free, and a full eligibility assessment starts from NZ$49.50.

Our approach

No surprises, at any stage

Fees are set out in a written agreement before any work begins, so the scope and the cost are settled while you are still free to walk away.

Everything starts with a conversation. Your first consultation is no-obligation, and it is where Sakshi listens to your situation, explains your realistic options, and tells you honestly whether professional help would add value. Your first phone consultation is free. A full eligibility assessment consultation starts from NZ$49.50.

If you decide to go ahead, nothing proceeds on a handshake. The scope of work and the fees are recorded in a written agreement that you review and sign before any commitment is made. What is agreed on paper is what you pay.

Good to know: Immigration New Zealand charges its own government application fees, which are separate from professional fees. Your written agreement will make clear which is which.

How it works

From first conversation to lodged application

A simple sequence, in the same order every time.

1. Consultation

A no-obligation discussion of your circumstances and options. You leave with a clear picture, whether or not you engage us.

2. Written agreement

If you choose to proceed, you receive a written agreement setting out exactly what the work covers and what it costs. You sign only when you are comfortable.

3. Work begins

Sakshi handles your case personally, from strategy and document preparation through to lodgement and liaison with Immigration New Zealand.

4. Payment

Each stage of the work is invoiced before it begins, in the order set out in your agreement. You pay as the work happens, and nothing is invoiced that was not agreed in writing.

What shapes the fee

Every case is priced on its own facts

Rather than publish one-size-fits-all figures, we quote each case individually. Three things drive the fee.

  • Visa type. A visitor visa involves less work than a residence application, and the fee reflects that.
  • Case complexity. Previous declines, health or character matters, or unusual circumstances take more time and care.
  • Urgency. Genuine deadlines sometimes require work to be reprioritised.

Whatever the quote, it is fixed in your written agreement before you commit. Please note that general information on this website is not immigration advice; advice specific to your situation is given within an engagement.

Refunds

Our refund policy is simple, and it is in your written agreement: fees pay for work, and once work is completed it is not refundable. If an engagement ends before a stage of work has started, you are not charged for that stage. All of this sits alongside your rights under the Licensed Immigration Advisers Code of Conduct.

Accountability

Concerns & complaints

Licensed immigration advice is a regulated profession, and you are protected accordingly.

If anything about our service concerns you, please raise it with Sakshi first, by email at sakshi@nzvisaimmigration.co.nz or by phone on +64 27 2009 786. Most concerns are resolved quickly through a direct conversation.

If you would prefer a formal route, put your complaint in writing to Sakshi; she will acknowledge it and work through it with you directly.

Because Sakshi is a Licensed Immigration Adviser under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007, you also have a statutory backstop. If a concern remains unresolved, you can complain directly to the Immigration Advisers Authority, the independent body that regulates the profession.
